There may be a loss of sensation in the affected area, or it may occur that when the area is touched or brought into contact with heat , cold or pressure occurs pain) Cymbalta starts to work in most people with depression or anxiety within two weeks of starting treatment, but it may take 2 to 4 weeks for you to feel better.

Tell your doctor if you do not notice improvement after this time. Your doctor may keep giving you Cymbalta when you feel better to prevent your depression or anxiety from coming back. In people with diabetic neuropathic pain, it may take a few weeks before feeling better. See your doctor if you are not feeling better after 2 months.
